Maeve Marsden started blogging because she likes talking about herself. She has since discovered that other people are interesting too.

By day she edits Made You Look magazine for the Don’t DIS my ABILITY campaign. By night, she bakes, sings (in both appropriate and inappropriate locations), plays soccer and rants about politics and her personal life.

Brad Syke, or Lloyd Bradford Syke, to give him his full due, is a veteran (as you can tell from the photo) adman, film-maker, journo, would-be politician and all-round, unabashedly left-leaning stirrer, provocateur and ratbag.

He seeks equity for all. Well, all except Peter Reith, Alexander Downer, Philip Ruddock & John Howard.

Lisa Banks is an IT journalist for CIO, blogger and social media addict.

She is a former Adelaidean who has lived in Sydney for five months, loves digital media, trance music, shoes & Battlestar Galactica.

Catherine Boundy is a firm believer that all the juicy things in life lie left of the centre.

A self-confessed festival junkie, she is a freelance writer and blogger living and cavorting in Sydney’s innovative inner west.

Let’s get one thing clear, Danielle Warby is not a writer. She has her fingers in lots of pies and loves taking photos but she still doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up. For now, she’s the Social Media Strategist at the Sydney Fringe*. Danielle is gay married to the internets and Felicia Day.

* Dan’s views are her own except when she disagrees with herself or has accepted a bribe.

Guy Hobbs is a third year journalism student and part-time bar tender.

He once lost a fight with a Sun Bear, the world’s smallest species of bear.

When Julian Orbach isn’t watching circus skills and writing blog articles, he is reading blog articles and practicing his circus skills.

Lillian Starr is a burlesque performer and a queer rabble-rouser from Sydney. She is a voracious culture vulture of both the high brow and the low, low, low brow arts and has sustained many a groin strain by trying to keep a foot in each camp.

These days, between a busy performance schedule and watching a blurred multitude of shows, she has become quite the dirty stop-out, so therefore carries spare underpants with her at most times.

Sarah Langston aka Bettie Brimstone is a freelancing, blogging, social media addict and writer who moonlights in marketing and communications. She often collaborates with Susy Pow of Bird In The Hand zine shop to create and facilitate events around independent publications – specifically zine making. She is generally a dorky, rant-inclined sweetheart who enjoys a nice lip liner and will steal your soy sausages if you pause to change channels.

Derek  is the editor of the Inner West Live website and collaborates with other local bloggers to capture experiences in the local area. Part frustrated techo, geek and animal carer, he resides on the outskirts of the IW and spends spare time writing, photographing and visiting corners of the IW.  He has no dancing or singing skills at all and should not be allowed into Kareoke unless the audience is heavily intoxicated.
